St. Peter's Church in the
Greenfields Township of South Africa
This is where our work began.
Greenfields is a very large, mainly Xhosa community where, for many people, employment prospects were bleak and hunger, poor housing and deprivation were a daily fact of life.
Board of Trustees
Greenfields Africa is govered by a Board of Trustees which advises and supports the Fund Director, Brian Hatton, in the implementation of our mission. The board is responsible for ensuring that Greenfields Africa fully complies with the expectations of the Charity Commission in all respects.
Mr. Jerry Troth
Our work aims to support communities: we support individuals only as part of a Community Programe or where there is a demonstrable benefit to the community as a whole -Eg training someone for work in the community.
We do not hand out cash donations. Where goods or medicines are required, we order from and pay directly to the supplier
